I have a creepy neighbor across the street who likes to stand on the sidewalk & stare at people. More explanation in comments ⤵️

Dear Mr. Creeper:
keep your eyeballs to yourself —
they might get stuck that way.

Your mama never told you
it‘s not polite to stare at
strangers — or neighbors?

Signed: the girl across
the way. P.S. You‘re too old to
be playing Ding Dong Ditch.

JenlovesJT47 If I go to the mailbox, he‘ll just be standing there across the street, staring. He‘s very bold. Last week, in the middle of the day, he banged on the front door really loud. Looked out the peephole to see him hightailing it back across the street. Can‘t think of any reason why he‘d be doing this. Ugh. Just needed to vent. Can‘t even get the mail without getting creeped out. 😒 3mo
willaful Yikes, that is really unpleasant. I 3mo

Blueberry Could he be developmentally disabled? 3mo
JenlovesJT47 @willaful yes it is. I told my mom about it and she‘s sufficiently freaked out. I watch too much true crime! 😆 3mo
JenlovesJT47 @Blueberry he‘s a well-dressed decent looking guy in his mid to late 40s, which makes it weirder imo. Seems very put together and everything. Who knows. 3mo
tpixie @JenlovesJT47 I‘m so sorry. Hmm do you know someone with a big dog you can borrow a few times to walk out and about with it?! 3mo
AnnCrystal That is creepy! Make a record of everything, hang no trespassing signs, and make sure you have nothing that says “welcome“ (like a mat or a garden sign). Get a camera if you can. When you go outside your house, consider taking a whistle and maybe pepper spray 🙏🏼💝. 3mo
JenlovesJT47 @tpixie the neighbor next door has a huge dog! I thought he was creepy before with all the staring, but what kicked it into high gear for me was him doing the ding dong ditch thing. Why the heck would he do that? Trying to lure me out cause he thinks I‘m home alone? Who knows. 3mo
JenlovesJT47 @AnnCrystal thank you, that‘s something to think about. Definitely need to invest in a ring camera and pepper spray! 🫂♥️♥️♥️ 3mo
AnnCrystal @JenlovesJT47 🙏🏼🫂 be vigilant and safe 💝💝💝. 3mo
Suet624 Wow! I‘m so sorry. That sounds frightening. 3mo
Gissy @JenlovesJT47 Does he have a mental condition or maybe another neurological condition that usually shows unusual behavior? That happens sometimes. If not then it is so creepy. 3mo
TheBookHippie STAY SAFE!!!!! Write everything down. Pepper spray is good idea. We have ring cameras everywhere. It‘s comforting. 3mo

lil1inblue Ick! Please stay safe! And like @anncrystal and @thebookhippie said - write everything down! If things continue, it will be helpful if you need a protective order.💓💓💓 3mo
CBee Gosh Jen, this is so odd and I hate it‘s happening to you! Agree with what everyone else said. And call the cops if you have to! So creepy. 3mo
dabbe All excellent advice! I was going to mention the cops, too, but CBee got here first. That is beyond creepy. 😱 Please stay safe! 🖤🐝💛 3mo
JenlovesJT47 @Suet624 @Gissy @TheBookHippie @tpixie @lil1inblue @CBee @dabbe thanks for the love and advice everyone! 🤗♥️♥️♥️ I will be alert. 3mo

Mehso-so

I found this book to be just “ok”. Many parts were very repetitive. The storyline seemed flat to me. There were no real surprises. I‘ve read many similar stories in the past. That being said, I kept reading and did finish the book. It‘s the first one I‘ve read by this author. Maybe I‘ll try another by her to see if I like it better. All in all, it was a fairly quick read and wasn‘t at all horrible.

Pickpick

This started slow too, but as it picked up the pace, it started racing and became a page turner. Ali had a rough past and spent her early adulthood as a wanderer. Something about Palmetto Island called to her so she decided to put down roots and bought a home. But crazy things have happened and her life is in danger.

⭐️⭐️.5
Didn't expect the ending, which was good, but something about the pace the story unfolded. Slowwww, then all at once everything happened.
