so-soBetter than the Movies was a reread: I still enjoyed it very much - charming, cute and funny, but this time Liz seemed truly infuriating and frustrating.
Nothing like the movies - I expected a light-hearted and funny story again, but it was sad and heartbreaking and not very romantic. Nothing like the first book...
pickLoved it 🥰 This little duo of books has me heading for the Lynn Painter section of the library, which is funny because I did not love one of her adult novels that I read prior to picking up Book 1 in this series.

pickI think I want to be friends with Lynn Painter. I love her storytelling and musical connections, I enjoy every character she creates, even the ones I can get mad at for making dumb choices because they are that much more realistic. Humans are so flawed when it comes to love and Lynn's words capture that. I'm quite embarrassed to not get the Elizabeth Bennett possibility until the epilogue, I'll blame it on all the other nicknames she answers to.🤷
First seven weeks of school are over, now I‘m finally on holiday. October has been really nice so far, it‘s not cold and nature is very colourful. Hopefully, I will actually get some reading done!

I can‘t believe I haven‘t posted for three months. But I have been reading. Maybe not as much as I hoped, but I just seem to lurch from one busy week to another. Anyway, my two week semester break helped. Some of these are already released, but I am also loving all the books about to be released mostly in September. #readingandreviewing #RSO2024
