It took me a minute to get on with this book. I finally got sucked into it and then it ends with a cliffhanger! Quinn was highly frustrating a good bit of the time as well. Even so, I want to read book 2. Thanks for picking this one, Jenni! #LMPBC #GroupR

Bookzombie @Reggie Yes, that seemed to drop off toward the end of the first book so much focus on the relationship stuff. I hope book 2 explains more/all. Lol. 14mo

There are things in this book which would make me typically dnf a book. Yet I could not stop reading this, and of course it is a two part story so I had to immediately download book 2. The story is Quinn, a woman about to get married to her partner of 6 years, she has a job she barely tolerates and some good friends. She also has dreams of a totally different life and a true love of a lifetime.

I by turns cried and wanted to shake Quinn until her teeth came loose. And I was there for every word. Does end in a cliffhanger and I have of course picked up the rest in the series.
