I've always loved Marian Keyes and Rachel's Holiday was an especial favourite years ago. This novel captures the Walsh family and their natural Irish humour just as I fondly remember them but this time throws even more depth and meaning as Rachel is further ahead in life and dealing with some difficult issues. A really enjoyable read.

I haven‘t read any Keyes for ages after loving her stuff for ages. She has a great talent for writing sad stuff with a very ordinary, down to earth sense of humour. The family shenanigans are fun.

A long, sprawling, very emotional read that had me so anxious I had to look up the ending. And I still might not have gotten through it if it weren't for the author's adorable Irish accent. Poor Rachel was once again put through the wringer and even though it ends well, it's painful to reflect on all that was lost.

Very sensitive readers should check trigger warnings on this one.

Gah, much as I don't like to admit it, I read it and liked it 🤗🤫😄.
I may have found it a little superfluous in detail, I may have skim read a lot of the middle but I thought the ending was great!
I'm very appreciative of her mental health awareness and the massive understanding of addiction; so much of it resonated and touched me.

Rachel's Holiday was the first chick lit book I read, on a Greek Holiday in my second year of a literature degree.
Whilst I rarely read this genre nowadays, this leapt off the library shelf at me! And I've just binge read 100 pages!

I read and loved Rachel‘s Holiday a long time ago. I fully expected to be a bit disappointed by this one, but I absolutely loved it. It was everything you love from Marian Keyes - sharp, witty dialogue, great characters and a heartfelt story told in such a humorous way. She did a wonderful job continuing the character‘s stories. I throughly enjoyed reading this book. I might even go back and do a re-read of Rachel‘s Holiday.

I think I‘ve read everything Marian Keyes has published and I usually love her, but for me this one wasn‘t up to par. The second half is great and what I‘ve come to expect from her, but the first half isn‘t so good. I felt like she picked a single plot point and kept cycling around it in a way that frankly almost made me bail.

Well, thank you again Marian Keyes for another great read! It was great revisiting Rachel‘s story. Highly recommend this one

I went through a full-on roller coaster with this one! First, overjoyed to have another Walsh Sisters book; then irrationally upset in the opening chapters to find Rachel NOT in the place I'd expected; then heartbroken, hopeful, and ultimately heartened by the full story. Not surprisingly, Keyes puts the pieces together perfectly. Now I need to re-read the whole series again. ❤️

I read Rachel‘s Holiday a million years ago and loved it, so thrilled when I saw she was coming back. Marian Keyes‘ writing was just what I needed. Loved it 🥰

Lovely to be back spending time with the Walshes.

Funny and heartbreaking, I've been laughing and in tears with this one. I don't want to spoil anything, but it is extremely sad in places. But lovely, and hopeful as well. And it really is fun hanging out with all the Walshes (esp Mammy Walsh!) Loved it.
