Another book by Gwenda Bond, this is the sequel to Not Your Average Hot Guy. #serieslove23
The characters travel in Heaven, Earth, & obviously Hell after the MC makes a deal with Lucifer to try redeeming souls. She & Luke (prince of hell) eventually find some private time in between the adventures. Romance, adventure, family. I enjoyed this duo of books. #doublespin or #bookspin for April

Took me a bit to get into this one, but that could just be that May is crazy. Loved the ending!

3/5

Callie and Luke are back and trying to navigate their relationship in the space between the forces of good and evil. It took a bit longer for the action to really get going in this sequel, but once it did, I loved it. We got more of Callie sticking up to the devil, and more about the guardians as a whole, including Saraya the Rude. It was another fun read.

1. The Date from Hell by Gwenda Bond, The Witch's Heart by Genevieve Gornichec, and Good Enough by Kate Bowler.

2. The Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao

3. This is impossible, so instead I'll just say that my last 5 star romance novel was Electric Idol by Katee Robert

I read book 1 and found it enjoyable, but had quibbles. Book 2 however is hilarious! This was such a fun read and really fixed a lot of issues I had with book 1; this time around, my only quibble was that Luke was sooooo down on himself. And that into all part where mom was so unhappy with Callie and the relationship. But the ending was crazy, in a good way. The Date From Hell was much
