pickThis is the fifth book in this British police procedural series, the first of which is “Close to Home“. I am getting to know all the characters and their backgrounds better (there are a lot of them), which adds to the enjoyment. There are two cases in this one, a sexual assault charge by a male student implicating his female Professor and a murder investigation which puts Adam in jeopardy. I am now looking forward to reading the next one. 4.25/5
bailedYeah, I don't really want to read podcast transcripts. This is not a book I would've ever picked up for myself. I only had it because a friend passed it on to me.

pickA very twisty story with great characters. Just as I thought I had a handle on things it switched around and presented new facts. Kept me guessing for much of the book.

pickWow what a thrill ride this one was. I found myself flipping glued to every page wanting to know if Adam would get out of this. I love all the newspaper articles, text chats and pod casts that run through the book. It breaks up the text and just makes it more interesting and current. The plot was well written and clever. I had an idea of some of the twists in this but a couple caught me out which is always fun. #Netgalley 5*
pickThis is probably the best book of the series so far. There are two plots running throughout this, the assault case & the business with Gavin Parrie, & both are filled with twists and turns which come at breakneck speed. There were a lot of things left unresolved at the end of the book, and I hope some of them at least are going to be tackled in the next book. 4🌟
