pickI finished this re-read recently. This is far better than a gimmick. The replica letters were done in the same style of the era. The editor did an amazing job researching everything from the paper, ink, quills, sealing wax, and even how they were mailed. They are even folded the same way they did instead of using envelopes. This is a great special edition for any Jane Austen fan.

Last night I reached the letter from Mr. Darcy to Elizabeth explaining things. It is 11 pages! Bliss.
I got a gift card unexpectedly today and immediately knew what to spend it on. It's a total gimmick, of course, but I don't even care.

This section of P & P has lots of letters. After all that's how people communicated. This one is particularly fun. It's made to look like Lydia wrote her note that she left for Mrs Foster on the back of fashion sheet. Which is totally something Lydia would do. ✉️
