Willa plays soccer, so usually professors would work with her schedule, but not her math professor. He suggests that she get tutored by his grumpy lumberjack-looking TA, Ryder, who also has a hearing deficiency. How will they overcome their negative perceptions of each other?

This one had its cute moments. I felt like the characters didn‘t have enough romantic chemistry. I did like the inclusivity of a character w/ a hearing deficiency.

I really wanted to love this but it just wasn‘t for me. I liked the premise and the writing and Ryder‘s large family (each of whom gets their own book in the series), but there was just too much sex for me. It made me uncomfortable to read after a point. But if you‘re looking for a series that has plenty of sex and good characters, then this might be right up your alley! 🤷🏻‍♀️ I also didn‘t like the disability rep in the second half.

SWOON!!! This book made my heart melt right out of my chest. Amazing chemistry. Frenemies to lovers. Thoughtful deaf representation. ALL. THE. FEELS.

I have plans to read the whole Man Of The Month Club series next month, as long as finishing off Arizona Vengeance, Boston Classics and Hope Eternal Ranch.

Solid romance, little predictable but the challenges that the main characters had to overcome, the loss of a parent and adult onset healing loss, made the story compelling and their connection worth rooting for. My first book by the author, definitely not my last!

Friends, listen to me when I say this. If you haven‘t read the #BergmanBrothers series yet, ask yourself whyyyy. These books are the comfort food, perfect steamy goodness, Hilarious moments, real life issues, and they are quickly edging my Winston Brothers over. Luckily, my heart is big and I have lots of room, but…just saying. I really love this family. 5 brothers & 2 sisters, plus their significant others. You need these stories in your life!!

This book hit me hard! Viking Lumberjack heroes with hearing loss..who knew they‘d be my undoing! Willa aggravated me somewhat, but I grew to understand her. Ryder was and is everything!! He‘s such a dirty lumberjack with a heart that will makes your insides liquify. So sensitive and yet possessive in all ways that count.

I didn‘t expect to cry during this read. Some parts just resonated deeply and a good author just pulls emotions out of you.

Finally, this got me to a bingo on my #bookspinbingo board.

It was sweet. I was looking for a “grumpy/sunshine” romance (send me your recommendations)

Chloe Liese writes great books with characters you can‘t help but fall in love with. They‘re flawed and so real and often hilarious.

Ryder lost most of his hearing two years ago and it‘s thrown his life off track. Willa is also dealing with a lot- school, division 1 soccer and her mom has cancer. These two are both amazing and I loved the slow burn frenemies relationship that grew through the book.
