One of my favourite #Ghost books is the tagged YA book.

It has haunting, possession, romance, discovery, and overall bittersweet happy endings 👻

This book is filled with sentences like this one. The kind I have to pause and reread because it was so striking.

Not sure how I feel about this. It's an intriguing concept that Helen & James could take over Jenny & Billy's bodies, but it sits wrong with me. I did like the very final scene though & was happy for the way things ended for Helen.

#octphotochallenge #bestnarrator

After 130 years, someone is aware of her presence. A Certain Slant of Light is a beautiful tale of love between two spirits residing in the bodies of humans, whose spirits have for some reason left. It is narrated by a ghost named Helen as she learns to navigate the physical world again and comes to terms with her demons.

This is one of the books I recommend the most frequently 💕

The pedicure was just ok, but spending time starting this book was fantastic! So few books hook me from page one, but this one did. I'm probably going to spend the rest of today finishing it. It's that good.

SheilaChew The book got weird, but in a good way. Stayed up late to finish it. Very satisfying. 8y

This book beautifully tells a love story between two not quite human characters; I loved the way it was written. It was refreshing that the main climax was not a war or uprising, but the struggle to be with a loved one.
