This recent release by New Zealand 🇳🇿 author Gareth Ward recreates some of the style and tone of those books. It's middle grade, exciting and the first in a new series, worth a look, I reckon, if that's your thing. #steampunk #mystery #adventure

The Leviathan trilogy by Scott Westerfeld is an incredible feat of historical fiction mixed with steampunk. And the illustrations by Keith Thompson are perfectly suited for the story.
