He's the wealthiest twelve-year-old in the land. But Joe isn't happy. Why not? Because he's got a billion pounds... and not a single friend. Pickpick

Well into our David Walliams marathon&just finished Billionaire boy ,a light hearted funny story.Lots of toilet humour&gross goings on which my daughter loved! With the wonderful message that there really are things that money can‘t buy 🥰
This definitely is for the slightly older child ....I had to skip a word I didn‘t really want to explain to my daughter yet,I was a little shocked it was in there to be honest 😬 but I won‘t hold it against him!

Pickpick

At the end of last year, we visited my sister in London, and popped into her local independent children's bookshop. My other half was soon absorbed, and was quite sad to leave 'Billionaire Boy' behind. So I got him a copy for Christmas. Which I have now also read.

Nice, light-hearted read with plenty of comedy (and gross school dinner humour) with the central message of money can't buy you love or friends. Good for kids, big and small!

This is the children's version of Can't Buy Me Love, or friendship. Full of toilet paper humour and adults so embarrassing they make Mrs Bennet and Mr Collins seem in good taste. The Billionaire Boy ends up wishing they didn't have any #money at all.

CrowCAH Sounds like a good lesson to have learned! 👍🏻 6y
