The sun
The sun: a novel told in 63 woodcuts | Frans Masereel
3 posts | 1 read
Created by the acclaimed wood-engraver Frans Masereel, this inspiring book takes the form of a novel-without-words, its story unfolding through a cycle of woodcuts. The Sun explores our fragile relationship with destiny, the dilemma of an individual struggling with his sense of purpose.

What is that???? Blue skies and sunshine? After 2 weeks of rain and overcast the sun is finally making a short appearance for the day! Because of the weather I haven't made ANY progress in #bfc but I might just take advantage today and get some walking in. I have gotten 2 #audiobooks completed toward my goal though so that's something, right? 😂

I jump a little with excitement when my monthly issue of The Sun arrives. 🌞🌞🌞 Does anyone else subscribe? ❤️

SkeletonKey Ooooh. I have never seen this magazine! 6y
peacegypsy @SkeletonKey It‘s wonderful. From a page of quotations (“Sunbeams”) to famous authors, fiction and stories by authors famous or authors who just share thoughts, all are included and celebrated. Glad you‘re interested! 😃😃😃 (And just in case, I‘m a plain old subscriber who doesn‘t work for them and will only be reimbursed by knowing someone else might enjoy this as I do.) 🌞 6y
SkeletonKey I‘ll find a copy and check it out! 6y
