I guess I'll never finish moving books from my old room to my new flat 😅😅
@Mavey I'm making progress 🤟🏻🤟🏻❤❤
As @Mavey , this one is my first #Screamathon!
I do not have a lot of time to spend reading this day, but I will try my best for the spooky season 🤟🏻🦇🧛♀️👻
This beautiful idea came from the @4thhouseontheleft 🤟🏻🤟🏻
I will try to finish The Returned within Tuesday so I can finally start a new book (It, I guess 😂)
This was my #doublespin for September @TheAromaofBooks
This was the Dutch translation of The returned. It even was made into a show for television, the basic story is the same, but major things were changed. It read a bit staccato, I don't know if that's because of the translation. It fell a bit flat, someone mentioned it should have been fleshed out more. I agree.
TBR since ?, 384 pages.
In its way this is a sad tale. What would happen if loved ones, who had passed away, suddenly came back. The way they were before their death. What would you tell them? What would you do to keep them with you? For me the Returned acted as though they had unfinished business to complete. The difference being they are “alive” instead of being spirits. Worth reading. Just don‘t be expecting answers or reasons for any of the happenings.
I have returned to Litsy after a long break. I was struggling with my mental and physical health and needed to cut down on where I was putting my energy.
I'm now feeling much more human again and decided it was time to throw myself back into the best online community I know.
I'm looking forward to catching up with what everyone is reading and adding eleventy hundred new books to my #tbr
