This book of poems is all about sports. It includes different poems about sports and how they make the players feel. I feel that many boys and girls who are interested in sports would enjoy reading these, especially if they play the sport themselves.
I like how this book highlights different sports using rhymes and shows moment on the page in picture form.
This book involve rhymes that allows us to get moving and talks about different sports.
“ I am at the foul line and I bet the ball will go right through the net”
I love this “because it‘s kind of like it‘s manifesting and if you believe in yourself and you can do it .
I love the little paintings that go along with it I‘m not really sure how to describe the artwork in it but I just love it it‘s kind of funky. Along with, of course, the rhyming words that makes this book of poetry book.
This is a fun book of different forms of sports and physical activity in the internal monologue of people doing these things in a poetry format.
Baseball:
I loved this poem because as a former softball player, I could relate to the emotions it portrayed. It‘s a fun and quick read that takes you on a journey that would really only last a few seconds in reality.
Baseball:
This poem describes the internal thoughts and feelings of awaiting a pitch when batting. Rhymes help the words flow and the reader feel the emotions of the narrator. The batter ends up whiffing, but has confidence for the next at bat.
So yesterday I didn't manage to make sports. Had to take care of boyfriend (I don't have kids but he was the little spoiled kid so...) but today after 15 days of no gym I went for a run. Had a good timing but was hard. At 20 minutes I almost gave up. But I manage to end. Now legs hurt... But is a happy pain

“I had to slide into the plate, it was my only chance. Though if I hadn‘t slid, then I would not have lost my pants.”
A good book to read to children because it gives different perspectives about every sport. This makes it easier for children to relate to the poems being told and to become more interested.
Genre: Poetry
On each page, this book has different poems that involve different sports. Some are about basketball, some are about gymnastics, some are about football, and others are about running. I like the illustrations in this book because they are pastel-like, which makes them interesting.
