Tiny things can cause big problems. Ax and the Animorphs morph into mosquitoes for another mission against the Yeerks. Before they know it, they are trapped in the unimaginable realm of Zero-space.

I‘ve made an important bookish decision. After trying to keep several books going at the same time, I‘ve decided to go back to reading one book at a time. So I‘ve put aside everything I was reading and I‘m starting fresh with a title I‘ve been wanting to read for a very long time: The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothkiss.

I‘d love to hear your comments about one read vs multiple reads.🤓

Foxyfictionista Polygamous reader here. I have one book for my commute and one for home. And then sometimes others on the go. I can't just read one book at a time. But we're all different so you should do what you want to do. ☺️ 6y
LitLogophile I always read multiple at a time but it really does stress me out! 6y
CatLass007 I used to read just one book at a time. When I joined Litsy, I started reading multiple books. Now I‘m back to one at a time and I prefer it that way. 6y

Samplergal I can not stick to one. I actually have 18 going at this moment. 11 are on Serial Reader. I read by mood. So if I don‘t want to read The Underground Railroad tonight I have several choices. I love non-fiction almost as much as fiction. And you need more focus sometimes for a dense read than a beach book 📖. 6y
LauraBeth I enjoy reading the most when I‘m reading only one book. However, I do have some ADD tendencies, so I‘m constantly battling wanting to read more than one. But enjoyment-wise, I need to be in a committed relationship with just one book 😀 6y
LeahBergen @LauraBeth I so agree! 👍🏻 6y
Jess7 I always read more than one bc I‘m a mood reader and if a book isn‘t interesting me at the moment, I like to be able to switch to another one. 6y
Christy2318 My absolute preference is only one in a single sitting especially if I‘m really into the book. However, I will read multiple books depending on library due dates, book club etc. I also tend to not read nonfiction straight through so sometimes I have nonfiction on the side while reading fiction in one sitting. 6y
Tamra Generally single. 6y
quietlycuriouskate I typically have a poet, a novel and a non-fiction going. Since Litsy, I've usually got an audiobook on Overdrive, too. 6y
Lcsmcat I have multiple - one print, one eBook, and one audio - but I need to keep them different from each other. If my print book is a memoir then my audiobook might be a mystery and my eBook literary fiction. Or if they‘re all literary fiction they will be set in different time periods and written in different styles. Add a read along or buddy read and I can have 4 going but that‘s my limit. 6y
AmyG I used to have 1 book and 1 audio going at the same time. Then litsy happened and now I have 5-6 books going. I will say you picked a GREAT book to read. 6y
Mdargusch I have an audiobook for driving or doing chores, an easy book next to my bed, and then another one downstairs . 6y
JillR I can only have one book on the go at a time. I also read to both kids on alternate nights so adding just those two extra books in often leaves me confused about what I‘m reading, ha! 🙈 6y
minkyb I can only read one book at a time. I have tried many times to shake things up but I guess I have a one track mind. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 6y
Redwritinghood I‘ve been feeling the same way lately, although I think I can still juggle an audiobook along with a hard copy or ebook. (edited) 6y
EvieBee Nice! I‘m a one book at a time person but I decided to try multiple books at a time last year and really enjoyed it. I think for myself it just depends on my anxiety levels. In the end, no matter how many books I‘m juggling I can only devote most of my time to one book anyway. 6y
EvieBee @Redwritinghood Same here. Always got an audiobook going. 6y
