pickI‘m working my way through this series on audio and I am enjoying it. This one was a chance to learn more about some of Maeve‘s colleagues while she figures out how to deal with a case that hits close to home. Jane Casey did a good job making me believe different scenarios could actually be possible. I‘m trying not to read these too quickly so I don‘t run out.
pickAnd finished! This series keeps getting better and better. I love Maeve and her intuition. Also, she‘s learning how to handle Derwent. Happy to finally finished a book this month! 😀🌟🌟🌟🌟

pickAnother very good read in the Maeve Kerrigan Series. It was good in this one to find out more about Josh Derwent‘s past, and quite a lot to find out. Certainly comes across as a different character to the one we see in the books - but he does certainly grow on you. A good few twists, although a bit lacking in the book as was a lack of the interpersonal stuff with her partner Rob as he was overseas. I felt that was a big miss as an integral part.
After finishing book 3 in the Maeve Kerrigan Series I am moving straight onto book 4. Not sure why but in book 3 I kept confusing the Maeve Kerrigan storyline with the Lacey Flint (Sharon Bolton) storyline.
@EadieB and @Tove_Reads Where are we up to in the Maeve Kerrigan Series by Jane Casey? Are we meant to be reading The Stranger You Know in August or The Kill?

pick4th book in Maeve Kerrigan series. My favorite in the series so far. Maeve is hunting serial killer - Could he be Josh Derwent, Maeve‘s partner? Josh Derwent‘s back story very interesting! Page-turner. Well-drawn characters. Excellent writing. Looking forward to next in series. Highly recommended.

For once it was quiet at the library. It was so much easier to get the 4th book in the Maeve Kerrigan series than the 3rd one.
so-soDC Maeve Kerrigan returns for a fourth case, this one involving a ‘charming‘ serial killer, who could be a fellow police officer.
Maeve‘s boyfriend, Rob, is conveniently out of the way on a training course for most of the book & most of the focus is on DI Josh Derwent. A few glimmers of character development but please don‘t put these two in a relationship. 3⭐️
pickNumber 4 in a series I'm really enjoying. Maeve is a great MC. Still haven't made my mind up about the annoying boss/sidekick!

Started this one tonight. Chanelling some GoT with the bookmark!! But it premieres at 2am here so I won't be staying up as I have full stressful day in work tomorrow. Will have to avoid all spoilers!
