Christmas with mom today 💗💗💗

I‘ve had this collection of holiday stories for several years but haven‘t taken the time to go through and read like I have this year for #WinterGames. It‘s such a lovely collection. #TeamNutcracker #HolidayReads

Today is known in my family as Christmas Adam (because Adam came before Eve. Product of a religious upbringing) Anyway, it‘s our tradition to do our extended family gathering on Christmas Adam. And for some reason, I volunteered to host this year. It should be 16 people or so, and we‘ve never had a crowd of that size here. So fingers crossed it goes well! 🤞🎄 No time for reading today! Hopefully tonight I‘ll be able to get some reading in.

He‘s almost crawling... and that freshly erected tree looks like a prime target of destruction 😱

I am really enjoying this book. It has already put me in the Christmas spirit. It opens with a letter to Santa Claus from a young Caroline while living in the White House. How precious!!! And sad, to think as she was writing, how she missed her little brother and parents. ♥️♥️
