First “book” finished for both readathons. I never thought I‘d be a comic book fan. I‘d have told you that you were nuts if you even suggested such a thing just four years ago. I‘m thrilled to be wrong. G. Willow Wilson‘s run with Xermanico as artist and Romulo Fajardo Jr doing colors is GORGEOUS and brilliant. My inner Lynda Carter fan is squealing! ALL THE 🌟

This issue isn‘t the database, but my variant cover just arrived and OMG! I swear the variant covers just keep getting better and better. So badass!

Issue #61...I started buying this run because it‘s written by Wilson (love her Ms. Marvel—so good). Then the variant covers caught my eye & I have to admit, I look forward to seeing each new cover as much as I do the continuing story. Which isn‘t to say the story is bad, it isn‘t, these covers are just that awesome. So, Steve Trevor tries to convince Aphrodite love is important & good & worth fighting for & Wonder Woman keeps fighting. Good read.

Last comic I picked up today AND the first issue of Wonder Woman I‘ve ever read. G. Willow Wilson is writing it now so of course I wanted to read it. Happily it does not disappoint. Steve is MIA and Wonder Woman sets out to find him. Old and new enemies, a new war, and more make this a great read. Yes, I will definitely keep reading and am very much looking forward to Issue #59. (And that cover!!!)
