This Star Wars novel is close to perfection for me. It has fun, action and depth. We learn so much more about the characters (Daddy Han!) and they gain so much more profile. Loved every single page of this book.

Grumpily returned The Burning God since it was due in two days and I was only 50% through. To make matters worse, I wasn't enjoying the book, but I want to know what happens because I've invested time in the first two books (liked 1, meh about 2).

Going to try this month's #StarWarsBuddyRead instead. Han Solo time!

An interesting concept poorly executed. Our heroes stumble through the story getting help from unlikely places when the plot demands - encountering more caricatures than characters - and face off against an ill defined villain. The author uses language and idioms that are totally out of place in the Star Wars universe and needlessly implements points of view from different time periods. The weakest of the new canon novels I‘ve read so far.

A fun romp with the galaxy's two biggest rogues trying to out scoundrel the other, while working together to stop an evil plot to destroy civilization. Older, wiser (?), more mature (??) Han and Lando make for the ultimate roadtrip buddies. 4 💥💥💥💥 out of 5

Continuing my Star Wars audiobook obsession with this novel, set later in the piece with Han and Leia married and parenting a toddler. I adore these books on audio, the sound effects and voices are all so true to the movies, and this one particularly was entertaining: it had 3 separate narrators and one in particular had me snort-laughing in several places. It took me a while to work out what was happening but before long I was hooked. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can not recommend this book more! It has everything, romance, a great plot, Aliens, Droids, Grisly death, capes, jet packs! , social justice. This book sucked me in and I was sad when it was over, this author was the perfect pick for writing Han and Lando! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love Lando more than anything... no joke I actually squealed during the Solo movie when I saw his cape closet on the Falcon. Literally closet goals. It would be my ultimate dream to design outfits for Lando Calrissian!!! #fangirling #capesoncapesoncapes
I‘m loving this book so far!!

Sat for over an hour at the doctor. Just for routine stuff and literally when they saw me they just scheduled another appt. like I waited for over an hour to schedule an appt. hahahahaha oh life. Good thing the clinic was in a plaza with both Barnes and Noble and TJs!! Yay for 50% book haul and Wino Wednesday!!! Side note: I will not drink both these bottles tonight I promise ;)

This audiobook was waaaaay over produced. Holy hell. The sound effects had their own sound effects. It was really distracting. The readers all did okay.

The story itself was pretty good, but a bit jumbled for my taste. It just never felt cohesive. As in the Solo movie I loved Lando's navigation droid. Wish there'd been more of her.

This is the definition of a so-so book. I didn't leave it disappointed or thrilled. It was...okay, I guess. Yeah.

Loved this! ❤️ The author tells this adventure from both Han and Lando‘s perspectives, and he does a great job capturing their voices. I laughed out loud so many times at their banter.

Oh my goodness, I loved this. It took me a bit to follow the timelines, but once I realized what was going on, I really enjoyed it. So many wonderful new characters, lots of old favorites, and just such a good time. I also love that this cover is reversible, and of course I had to go for the Lando side. 😍

I read this for the friendship category for #Booked2018! One more to go!

Haven‘t been reading much. But I got up early and this book is nearly due back so it‘s time to get serious 😂

Probably my favorite new Star Wars canon book!
A really wild and fast plot,- I do admit I got a bit lost at times- Some old characters, and some new (I loved Peepka)
One of my favorite parts was Lando being so Fashionable before big battle scenes 😂

And Baby Ben! 😍😭

Going to see the Solo movie this weekend- so excited!! Anyone else seen/seeing it?

Going a (little) crazy buying ALL the Star Wars books!!! 😁😁 I had to get Last Shot since Solo comes out this week. But I like Lando better so I flipped the cover. Can‘t wait! I also wanted these short stories in hardback since I tend to read those piece meal. Unfortunately the scissors I used to open the box sliced the “R” in Wars, but it‘s hard to tell. Yayyyyy Star Wars!!!

Fun book: not the best of the Star Wars novels I've recently read, but still fun. The whole bit about Lando's cape closet on the Millennium Falcon is hilarious, and I'm assuming that will be in the movie. Definitely recommended for die-hard Star Wars fans.

1) A tie between Return of the Jedi & The Force Awakens.
2) Yoda.
3) I haven't read any, but I've been curious about them.
