This one was a quick read. James Patterson is one of my go to authors and I‘ve had this book for awhile. I enjoyed it! I really like the series of true crime and how he brings the story to the readers. I definitely need to read the others in this series soon!

Another great true crime read from one of my fave Authors, James Patterson. This book contains 2 true crime cases, a husband who hires a hitman to kill his wife and the fairly recent Dee Dee Blanchard case. If you aren't familiar with this case it's the disturbing case of a mother and her munchausen by proxy with her daughter who then eventually turns on her resulting in the mother being murdered. A very interesting and heartbreaking read.

Jumping straight into this true crime audiobook by James Patterson for #NFNov, while I make some Christmas light cutouts. I‘ll be turning them into garland to decorate the clinic I work at. I try to make our clinic warm and welcoming, especially near the holidays, as many of our patients bring in their children. The little ones seem to love all the decorations. ♥️

AprilMae Love this idea! Prior to having a cricut I made a lot of decorations for the hotel I worked at by hand, including large Christmas lights to put employees names on for Christmas! 4y

Clwojick @AprilMae Yes! I can totally relate! Sometimes I‘m a bit in awe over what I used to do by hand before having this lovely machine. 4y

James Patterson is a good fiction writer, but as a true crime writer,not so good. This book read as fiction,not true crime. The book was ok,but disappointing.

Is anyone else watching The Act on Hulu?

I stumbled across the book and am very curious now to read it for primarily the second story focusing on Gypsy. Her mother treated her as a child and raised her to believe she had multiple health problems for years...

I was wondering if anyone has opinions on the Hulu mini-series. I‘m about four episodes in, and I think the actors are absolutely brilliant.

Victoriahoperose YES! Love it. I hear that there were some things that were changed. I‘m holding off on watching the HBO one until I‘m done with the Hulu show. Now I definitely have to get the book too!! 5y

Started this book this afternoon and finished it just now. It is 2 true crime stories by James Patterson from Investigation Discovery's Murder Is Forever Series. The first one is about a guy that wants his wife dead and why. The 2nd one is about a girl that thinks she's sick, because that's what she's been told her whole life. If you like true crime, you should read this book. Happy Reading.
