I finished this a couple days ago but it‘s been pretty hectic here so here‘s my assessment. Love Shade and Lily, as always and yowza, that bar scene was pretty 🔥🔥🔥. Ice and Grace was meh-I‘m glad they worked their issues out but I don‘t really care about them. Jonas and Hammer and Mika was mostly a wtf story for me. I don‘t care about the triad relationship but it was a tough sell for me and also👇

CocoReads WTH was with Mika being part of Grace‘s past. I‘d actually forgotten about her trauma and of course, I‘m glad that her kidnapper was taken care of in the end but the whole thing was awfully convenient. IMO, not her best but totally worth it for Shade. 😍 @CoverToCoverGirl 5y

CoverToCoverGirl For me it was ALL about Shade and Lily, love him to bits, that part was all good.... but as we all know Begley sometimes will do things that we don‘t understand and then bam 💥 it all makes sense. I concur that it wasn‘t her best, but her best books really are #TheLastRiders, for the most part the rest are really just fillers that help advance the Last Rider‘s storyline. 5y

CocoReads Yeah, everyone else really is just there for the betterment of the Last Riders. I kinda hope she doesn‘t, she‘d be so embarrassed. I kind of enjoyed it though. 😉 5y

This might be the year of re-reads for me — re-reading the Black Dagger Brotherhood at the moment — love that series ❤️ 5y

Shade 😍 I‘m not a re-reader, but I enjoyed how the first 75% of this book retold the series in snippets from Shade‘s POV. I wish the last part had been longer and then by the third epilogue I was crying like a baby. This book was so good. #mcromance #romance #romantsy #thelastriders

This book in stages:
1-85%- An almost completely useless retelling of the last eight books, that barely revealed new info, but revealed just enough that I couldn't skip it
85-98% Well done, could've been a little better if it had been a normal size book, instead of a novella.
Epilogue 2: I READ 600 PAGES FOR YOU TO RIP MY HEART OUT. IT'S 1AM AND I CAN'T STOP CRYING.

A day late. 😂 1. That Epilogue 3 still gets me. @CoverToCoverGirl knows what I‘m talkin about 2. Either, I have very little plaid and no polka dots. Polka dots are cheerful though 3. Ew, gravy.
