This book was interesting. It was about a wizard who helps a boy find his parents. I loved it but wasn't my favorite. If you love fantasy and adventure I recommend it. 3/5 stars.

This is a book I gave my grandson and he wanted us to read together. I thought it was a fun middle grade story about a boy named Ozzy whose parents get abducted. He lives alone for several years except for the company of a metal bird that talks (think robot AI, soft of). The bird, Clark, was built by Ozzy's father and it becomes his friend. Eventually he hired a wizard to help him find his parents and thus starts a big adventure. The story was...

TheSpineView ...silly in some places and strange in others. Yet, it worked. Just the right amount of weird to be fun. 4⭐ 3y

I'm doing my next traveling book: a brand new Middle Grade fiction book by a fantastic author. A traveling book is simple & not a huge commitment. This book will travel between 12 people in 1 year. Each person will annotate, add notes etc and send it to the next person. This would be great for those that want to get your kids involved or just yourself. #travelingbook #mgfantasy

Avanders @Heatherfeather I'm doing her traveling book for The Last Magician.. I haven't received it yet, but I think I'm next! 👏🏽👏🏽 I have, however, done the mail book clubs (multiple books as opposed to just the one) and I love it. I'm sure I'll love the traveling book too!! 6y

aprilpohren I have never done one of these but this book sounds really good! I would love to give it a try! How much does it normally cost to ship internationally? 6y

LibrarianRyan @aprilpohren depends. Shipping from the uS to the U.K. Is the most expensive. I just shipped the horror traveling book to Norway and it was $22. ( paperback book, journal, bookmarks, and I sent a little something for the next person in line.). I don't have all addresses for the new people gathered yet, but I didn't have an international person yet. 6y

LibrarianRyan @aprilpohren a traveling book is a nice way to dip your tow into a mail book club. It's just one book. Not one book a month for however long the cycle. It takes at least a year to cycle (before I get it back). And you don't have to send out anything not sent to you. 6y

Hey all.

I had soooo much fun putting together my first traveling book, that I have decided to do another (two actually). This one is for Middle Grade Fantasy. You can read it, if you have a middle grader who might think this is fun, they can read it, or it can be a family read. It's up to you.

This Does NOT start until April (book comes out in march).

You read the book, make any notes, etc and then send it one. Rules are above! ?s just ask
