This post was my first #bookhaul I posted it 2 Christmases ago. It wasn't a big one but I have read The Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy and most of The Dark Crystal The Ultimate Visual History. So let's say 3 1/2 😸

TODAY WAS GREAT!
Got over my cold enough to catch the end of Faeriecon. Wendy & Toby Froud signed my Visual History of the Dark Crystal book along with the author. They were so exquisitely kind. Also picked up Cory Godbey‘s Labyrinth & Dark Crystal children‘s books because they were too pretty not to.
Aaah, I love artists and writers so much.

pickWent to the theater today to watch The Dark Crystal. Labyrinth doesn‘t hold up as well on the big screen but this one? Definitely stunning. I think it‘s running in select theaters for few more days if anyone wants to try to see it.

My lovely wife went back to work right after Christmas so it‘s just me, our 3 year old, the grinningest 5 month old you ever saw, and our Yorkie all day every day.
Needless to say I have been going NONSTOP, but I found a few minutes to check out my incredible visual history of The Dark Crystal. Cosmo is chomping on a Christmas toy in the background.
My baby did good for Christmas. I try to guess what everything is as I open it because I know it drives him nuts. The first one I said was TDC visual Guide. He gave me this look like I needed to die. I was wrong it was Labyrinth. tDV was further in the box.
I hate to play favorites but I have to. @litenthusiast hands down picked the best book mark for me. The HP book marks are cute, the book furniture lovely, and hot coco is the only way I like coco. Plus that flat marsh mellows. So cool. But far away my absolute fave is the Dark Crystal bookmark with a piece of film in it. That is Sooooooo AWESOME. My fav. Josh tried to steal it already.
