3⭐️ Handmade toys were always one of my favorite things to get from grandma. Then they went out of style, but a homemade resurgence is happening. If you are a crocheter and have dreams of making kids smile, this book can help you it. It has multiple fun animal babies like monkeys, pigs, etc to make. Plus the patterns normally come in two styles: full doll, and blanket doll. Maybe if I start now, I could have something done for the holiday.

Our dog Paco wasn't all that happy with a new dog invading his home. 😂🐶

These patterns are perfect for crocheters who are ready to move on from beginning projects. Easy, clear instructions are given in charts AND written-out format. I've always wanted to learn to read the charts, and seeing the side-by-side formats was SO helpful. I love that the patterns for the blankets are separate from the stuffed animals. Easy to mix, match, personalize (which is why my fox lovey pictured above is gray, per my 8yo's request!)

This book has the cutest patterns! Already made four of the twenty animals included myself and I love that each animal has both a toy and lovey option... Quite easy to follow even for crochet newbies like myself. Minor complaint: I don't like the teddy head proportions; the head seems huge in comparison to the body or other animals. Still love this book though and they make the perfect gift for newborns or small kids! ❤

4,5/5 stars.
