Juliemorell I'm so glad you wrote a review on this book! I just read "I am Jane Goodall" and absolutely loved it. I have a feeling that this entire series by Brad Meltzer will definitely be in my classroom library. He takes a whole different approach on biographies- in a way that makes it more interesting for kids! Love the EL strategy you used by the way, it works perfectly! 7y

DrSpalding You two making text to text connections makes me happy! The ordinary people resource is phenomenal. The timeline they provide could easily be used in a classroom on an interactive whiteboard to lay the foundation for when this individual lived and would highlight his historical significance. Excellent alignment as well. 7y
