When you catch your kid at 10:30 at night reading by the light of his night light instead of sleeping. (He didn‘t know I was even taking his picture)
Mom Sharon - “Buddy , put the book away and go to sleep , it‘s way past your bedtime!”
Book lover Sharon (thinking to herself) “ Yassss! that‘s definitely my child…read away kid, read away.”
Book lover Sharon and my kid both think Mom Sharon is boring and not fair 😂📚💤🛏
5✨ I love this series. It has more depth than just a kids comic book. This one has elements of Charles Dickens “Tale of Two Cities” and Million Dollar Man references. We have a new cloned character and an improvement to a previous villain.
NTR the Tale of Two Cities again. And then this again... because. . .
This book is my favorite so far I contains a fish called flippy and he does die not gonna say why and petey makes a clone of him self but it goes wrong and the fish comes back to life and try to destroy the world
My 2nd graders are loving the Dog Man series, so I decided I should read it. It has been quicker to get them on Libby than the actual library as they are so popular right now.
Every time I meet a new kid at the library, they ask about Dog Man. Every time.
So I bought the library another set of the whole series and brought one home to try. It‘s delightful. Dog Man has a dog‘s head sewn on a policeman‘s body (backstory in the intro to this one) and he fights crime, including the two kitties in the title. Puns, visual jokes, & silly antics galore. At this point I think everything Dav Pilkey touches turns to gold. #kidlit
Funny graphic novel. Perfect for beginner and reluctant readers but not babyish. Many cvc and sight words. Dog man is part-dog part-cop and helps solve crime. This installment featured Petey the evil cat, his kitten clone (who turns out to be sweet) and a number of other entertaining characters. Good for ages 5-8. My son loved the pictures of kids reading to dogs at the back. It inspired him to read to cats and dogs at our local shelter.
Started a new reas with my daughter last night. She loves these books.

Kids‘ library haul this week with a recommendation of The Terrible Two thanks to @Centique
Cute story. Both my kids finished it in s day which is a huge milestone. Great read for any ambivalent Readers to keeps them actively engaged and turning pages.
At B&N prior to haircuts, the almost-4-year-old grabs up this book saying: “I wuv comic books! Where can I wead this?!” 😆👏🏻 #raisingreaders
Book fair prep! Seriously, this is one of my favorite events at school! We do 3 fairs a year but the first is always the most exciting!
Would you be interested in me posting books we've got in at the fair? Everyone needs wish lists for the holidays, right? #holidayshopping #bookfairs #Scholastic #elementary #kidlit #raisingreaders #picturebooks
I did something incredibly stupid. I pulled a mussel in my neck. Even holding my head up hurts. I'm trying to make it through the work day because we are very slow right now. The easiest thing to use right now is my iPad, so I think I'm going to share some #coverlove #kidsedition (and middle grade too).
First up. Dog Man 3. I love this series.
The first thing I opened when I got home was a little envelope full of Litten (and kitten) love from @LibrarianRyan 💕 thank you for the sweet bookmarks!
