Forgot to post this yesterday. Had a little break from work sitting in Darling Square with my book and a doughnut 🍩

3.7 🌟
Truthfully i stopped reading the series after the 1st book, but i recently picked it up again just so that i could read King of Scars.
It was okay I guess. The revelation of the third amplifier was a bit odd and didn't really fit with the mythical creature thingy. But overall, I love the world building and the magical system.
(Honestly, any cover from this edition is 🤩😍🤩)

The conclusion to the series and bittersweet. The build up, the suspense, the race to finish it to see what happens and emptiness in your heart when it concludes. The group of characters must make a final stand against the darkling by finding the last amplifier and missing prince. I come to love the characters, the richly built universe and every twist and turn in the series. Sad for the series to end but Leigh Bardugo has gained a fan for life!
July was a pretty good reading month! The tagged was one of my faves, but there were lots of good ones. And I hit my #BFCr2 goal! #JulyWrapUp
#76 of my year! I really really love this series, this world. It‘s so fantastic. All hail The Sun Summoner and Mal...I love Mal 🥰
Easily the best of the trilogy. All the set-up in the first 2 books pays off in this conclusion. I enjoyed how Alina finally begins to take control of her own life & power, & how she has to cope w/the trauma she's been through & the sacrifices still to come. It could have been a slower story, but this is fast-paced & fun to read throughout. A few parts caught me off-guard, but I enjoyed it & am looking forward to the next set of books.
This has been the year for me finding some great books! This is the The 3rd book in the series. I loved all of them and will probably reread at some point. I liked how Bardugo ended this series and that it leads into the duology starting with King of Scars. I don't think she could write a book I hated. 5⭐
Why did nobody warn me that this one gets terrifying?

I can't sleep, so I'm reading Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo. What are you reading?
I have already finished the trilogy and biology of #leighbardugo and I must say that I LOVE IT. If you want to immerse yourself in a world one of the kind, I recommend this universe of #grishas in a 100%.

What a perfect end to one of the best fantasy trilogies I‘ve read in awhile. The fates of The Darkling, The Sun Summoner & her Tracker were so bittersweet, I don‘t think I could‘ve written a better finale. Poor Nikolai. I‘m trying really hard to avoid spoilers, but I love that she gave The Darkling a bit of humanity at the end, it was one of my favourite scenes. Highly recommend. 5⭐️ #MountTBR2019 #Bk19 #Pop19 #BookThatIncludesAWedding
Onto Bk3 in the Grisha trilogy. I don‘t know whether to jump from these to finally finishing the Six Of Crows duology or shake it up with something different. What would you do? More of the Grishaverse or Something Different?🤷🏻♀️
Kinda anticlimactic ending
The third book in the trilogy. I thought it was a fitting end and am looking forward to starting this author‘s next series. 4/5 stars
And it‘s over 😭😭
I would‘ve loved more scenes involving the Darkling, his character had heaps of potential. Other than that I liked how everyone‘s story was wrapped up nicely. Now to reread SOC and start KOS !

#currentlyreading and I‘m so nervous to see how this trilogy ends. I‘m really enjoying book 3 😍 #Grishaverse
I really, really enjoyed this series. This book might have been my least favourite, partially because of Alina's character, wavering between complete powerlessness (the beginning) and having an unnatural, all consuming desire for more and more power, but it still really delivered a great story and great characters - Nikolai is the best, Mal actually isn't the worst, and the Darkling has more scenes - it's the best of all aspects!

⭐️3/5
Bardugo rounds out the Grisha Verse series well. I was okay with the definite ending, and the final character development. However… if I wasn‘t already in love with the series it probably would have gotten a poorer rating because I had guessed the “big reveal” in the previous book.
I'm often disappointed by endings as definite at this one, but I'm very content with it, which is a huge thumbs up in the authors direction. I also applaud such a memorable villain, I felt more sadness for him than anyone else, living or dead.
I lost some tears in this book but they were very well deserved, Leigh Bardugo once again gave me a reason to love her writing abilities:)
(My favorite book is still Six of Crows though, just so you know...)
Slow day at work… let‘s see how much I can read today

Re-read. This series just escalates! Or maybe I'm just excited because now I can start King of Scars. No, this book is definitely the best of the 3. Great ending to the series, full of emotions.
Great ending to this series with even more unexpected twists and turns and jam packed with story. I'm definitely going to have to go back and reread the Six of Crows duology now before diving into King of Scars.
These mini cinnamon rolls are heaven and this reading break is much needed
So much action and twists and turns in this book. So many emotions to sort through. Like any good series, I'm reluctant to leave it and move on. I have The Language of Thorns and might pick that up next just to continue in this world.
After spending yesterday at the Japanese festival, my husband and I are spending a lazy day reading. This fuzz ball is keeping me company. The fluff ball is at my feet begging for attention.
Kavsisgsidvdj this series.
I didn't know what to expect except for a YA dystopian trilogy but I enjoyed it.
It gave me a different feel.
So I finished this one in a day 😄 I literally am obsessed with this world that the author has created and so I‘m going to be starting King of Scars today because I just can‘t keep away! 🌟

This was an amazing ending to an incredible series! I‘m so glad that I already know there are more books in this world otherwise the book hangover would be hitting me really hard right now. I don‘t think I‘m ever ready to leave the Grishaverse. 5/5🌟
am going to have major book hangover from this one! I really loved this series and will definitely reread later this year. I‘m so happy the ending wasn‘t super cliche and I was SO thrown that Mal was the third amplifier. I love that they got to build their own life back where it all started. I do have to admit though, that my heart broke for the Darkling and I‘m the author notes at the end she said hinted he might now be dead? We‘ll see I hope!
Good morning and Happy Sunday! Can‘t wait to see how the series ends! Hoping for more Darkling in this book! #ruinandrising #darkling
