My #speculativespringswap #sss box arrived today!

I think this is from @Pigpen_Reads 🌸 The box was in some melting snow and dripping water for a bit before I realized it had been delivered. Hopefully nothing inside is ruined. Are things wrapped inside? If so, I would open it to make sure nothing is too damp & can dry it out quickly if need be, but I don‘t want to ruin the surprise if they are not wrapped.

MeganAnn @Pigpen_Reads not your fault! One of our postal workers tends to set packages right where the water drips and puddles every time. Drives me nuts! 😖 The other one always carefully sets them by the door where they are safe. Maybe I‘ll ask my son to open the box when he gets home from school to make sure. Then if something‘s damp we can pull out to dry so it doesn‘t get icky, but if it‘s not the surprise won‘t be ruined. 2y

MeganAnn @Pigpen_Reads yes, it seems to be! My son opened it and felt around the bottom and he said nothing felt damp so thankfully it must not have soaked all the way through the cardboard in the bottom. 😅 2y

MeganAnn @Avanders I wish I could! It‘s right in the walkway at the top of the steps so it has to stay clear. I‘ve tried putting a note on the door but either they didn‘t read it or have chosen to ignore it. My husband is planning to replace the gutter there this year so hopefully that will help somewhat. 2y

Things have been a bit hectic with me going away last minute and then coming back to snow ❄️ Thank you so much for the fabulous goodies in the #SFMBC!!! You hit the nail on the head! The Darjeeling tea is delicious and the Groot Funko is adorable!!! I‘m so excited to read Sabrina and the notebook is so pretty. (Book Club book covered by unicorn journal to avoid spoiling for rest of SFMBC!)

I already read the picture book(of course!) Today I was starving & ate half the 🍫! The books! #SFMBC Picked this up at that post office today, thank you so much @ofbooksandme for all the little extras!! I can‘t wait to make a cup of tea and sit down with your book choice, it looks like it is really good. And the journal you picked is gorgeous 😍. I believe I will use the little pencil girl for my note taking, she is so cute 💙.
