Basically my rating boils down to expecting too much from the book. I expected it to be laugh out loud funny, and was only amused. It's a quick and entertaining, definitely still worth a read. And how about that cover art? 😂
pickA fun and fast read with Connie Willis' trademark tongue-in-cheek humour and infused with some historical nuggets of interest if you are familiar with the Scopes Trial.
I'm going to finish off the evening with this backlist gem from 2005. It's Connie Willis so I am sure it will be good - and the cover is straight up amazing!
