#MarchIntoOz Day 27: The story revolves around twin brothers Yaqub and Omar whose close affinity in their mother‘s womb was matched by the enmity they felt for each other from childhood. There is definitely #BadBoyForLove here as the cause of the rift between the two brothers was a beautiful girl. This is a complex family saga illuminated in stark, dramatic black and white illustrations that will drill a hole in any reader‘s consciousness.

Fascinating and heartbreaking tale of twin brothers whose opposite natures and indulgent family tear them apart. While neither is completely innocent in the chain of events, one can't help but feel that the younger is far more to blame than not. I'm definitely going to seek out the original book this graphic novel was adapted from. Another great graphic novel from Moon & Ba!
