Guys, stoked to share that my short story “Brother Mine” has been accepted for The Twisted Book of Shadows, a forthcoming horror anthology edited by Christopher Golden & James A. Moore! So honored to be a part of the Table of Contents curated by a brilliant editorial committee & the opportunity to work with writers I admire. It felt so surreal when I got the email. I wrote the piece in January so this was especially a nice note to wrap the year on
A brutal blizzard in a small town paves the way for tragedy for some of its residents at the hands of supernatural entities. Years later, a recurrence is imminent & eerie occurrences unfurl across town. To simply say this is a book about ghosts & demons would be a disservice since it's more like a spiritual cousin to Les Revenants & has a literary bent, exploring grief, trauma, love & hope through an ensemble of incredibly fleshed out characters.
I wonder how many books have snow, ice, or winter in their titles
Creepy things happen during a whiteout in New England: It‘s twelve years after people mysteriously disappeared during a blizzard, and now scary things are happening again, like phone calls from dead people, and more missing children. A town must pull together to overcome the seemingly supernatural events taking place. ❄️
Day 18: #letitsnow #decdays
I'm out of town and didn't preplan my photo challenge prompts for when I'm away. 🙀 Time to screenshot from my gr shelves and/or raid family bookshelves for the next few days.
Bentley and I are both unenthused about a snowy drive to Michigan today. I'd rather build a blanket fort and hide out and read all day ...
Snow on the ground. Persephone and Hades in the bed with me. Why do I have to go to work?!?! Oh, yeah, I need to make money to buy more 📚. But I want to stay in and read! Such a vicious circle. #kittenlitten #catsoflitsy
