The story begins with the launching of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-B and the mysterious disappearance of Captain James T. Kirk. Then seventy-eight years later, Captain Jean-Luc Picard of the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701-D receives a distress call from a remote scientific observatory. This is actually the sixth #Meg book in the series which isn‘t in the database for some reason!! 😬 it‘s more of the same #shark fun- and a cliffhanger of an ending leaves me looking forward to the next book!! Hopefully the wait isn‘t too long!!! 🤞🤞🤞🦈🦈🦈

My library‘s shared this article on FB and I find it very interesting. 1981-1996. Old enough to remember rotary phones and grew up where the internet became an new way of life.

What do you guys think about this new distinction?

Pruzy Sounds accurate to me! Last generation to remember a time before the internet! Wooo! I miss Blockbuster (and Roger‘s Video to those of us in Canada) ☹️ 6y

Purrfectpages I‘ve seen this defined and redefined for so many years now. I prefer to see myself as part of a micro generation as neither Gen X or Gen Y have ever felt fitting. 6y
GypsyKat When I was in high school, my friends and I were aware that we were Gen X. I‘m perfectly happy to just stay one, but tbh I don‘t care that much either way. Why do we all need labels? 🤷🏻‍♀️ 6y
