Confession time: Remember how I was on that self imposed book buying ban? Well, I got an email notifying me of the limited edition of the Motor Girl hard cover omnibus comic book. They said that they will only be printing 1000 of these, since it is independently published. I love these comics, so I couldn‘t say no. So I pre-ordered it, it is coming out in March. But I promise I only bought that one and am back to my book buying ban. 😅😁🦍💕

Librariana You practiced restraint! You could've kept the shopping spree going and you didn't, so good for you! I think in cases like these.... when it's a special edition of a loved book... something that'll be part of a collection, the purchase is completely exempt/justified. 6y

Suet624 @saresmoore Honestly, the Captain was the treat. For an hour he entertained a dozen of us who could have been extremely cranky and bored. The DMV lady even handed him a balloon and a piece of candy because she was so impressed with his sense of humor and his patience. 7y

Sometimes I'll look and realize I missed months worth of posts and think "how can this be?" I guess it's all in the timing of when we're on Litsy.
