A big thank you to @thegreensofa for my #AllHallowsReadSwap gifts. I‘m not familiar with the book and it looks both intriguing & very scary! 🤡 I‘d show off the two bags of Reese‘s Franken-Cups but I have eaten far too many of them over the past few weeks since I accidentally opened the Amazon box.🤷🏻‍♀️🤣🍫🥜😋 It‘s sherr willpower that I even have some left after the month I‘ve had!😉Thanks again and Happy Halloween! 🎃👻💀

It's a bit grating that the author keeps dropping the g-slur. I guess he thinks it means the same thing as "carny." It doesn't, though. I don't understand why he doesn't just say "carny" and leave the ethnic slurs out of it.

It's almost Fall , time to bust out the scary books ?? clowns and a circus sounds scary enough for me! I want to Go into this blind ,makes it more thrilling ... but I know it is about psychotic clowns and a crazy circus!!! ??

I loved this book, but is sooooo not for everyone. ("Not to Everyone's Taste" is my family crest.) It's gory nonsensical violence plus scary clowns, but I could hang. I thought it was bloody fun.

DennisJacobRosenfeld I really wanted to like it! Clowns freak the hell out of me, but unfortunately this would have been better as a short story or at the most a novella. It quickly runs out of steam and turns repetitive. In my opinion anyway. Have you read 'Circus of the Unseen'? 8y

SGJ Even right after reading it, I couldn't have said exactly what-all just happened. But I liked it. This is the ... Underworld edition, I think? Far from that book at the moment, can't check. They also did Evenson's Last Days, maybe. 8y
