Another where I just don‘t like the MCs. There‘s a fine line between headstrong and just stubborn. They got bette the second half but hard to come back from the original unlike.

I'm dying to read this book ! I adore Lorraine Heath and love every book she written. But I always find Kirkus's reviews lacking.

When it comes to reviews yeah that's what Kirkus does. But what I want is a review where I can feel just how much the reader loved it. A review where the readers love inspires me to pick up the book.

I enjoyed that this one focused on a heroine of circumstances I don't usually get to read about. (Though I am FAR from as extensively read as many romance readers.)

EloisaJames Lorraine Heath is so good at bring in unusual circumstances/characters and making the plot hinge on them! 7y
