First off, this book is hilarious. It‘s very satirical and pokes a lot of fun at own society. Parts of the story were reminiscent of the pandemic and how some political leaders and society handled it. I found it very clever. One of the funniest parts of the book was ogre speak, which was essentially really foul and rude language.

OK friends, I‘m late to #5JoysFriday 💛 Got home from my work trip to Maui last night, ate the takeout my coworker asked to stop for, thought I‘d rest for a minute & feel asleep. So here are my joys for a busy week. I look forward to reading your joys today/tonight. 💛

1) I don‘t like to take steroids & antibiotics but I find joy in breathing & after a 2nd dose of them, I am & was able to facilitate yesterday.💨

2) No pictures but I had many ⬇️

DebinHawaii …joyful moments with my team the last few days onboarding 32 people from an acquisition into our company. You never know how it will go but we pulled it off & even got hugs from our newest employee owners so I‘m proud of that.

3. Thursday dinner with my team in Maui & my comforting bowl of mushroom linguini with chicken & the not shown warm focaccia bread w/ butter. Also, the best joyful white sheet cake w/ fluffy frosting at lunch yesterday. 😋 16h

DebinHawaii … 4. There were not joyful travel moments & both the flight to Maui & our return flight got canceled. We ended up on an 8PM flight back but went to the airport anyway & went on standby & you can‘t imagine the joy when all 3 of us got on the 5:15 flight. Relief! 😅
5. #LitsyLove continues to bring joy. 💛 I received more in my mailbox to open today & I promise I will get letters back soon! 💛💌📫 (edited) 16h
