Hey, everyone! It's been awhile due to lack of inspiration but I've been thinking of taking pics and sharing my love for books again....which means I'll have a post up on my website for the top 10 books I've read this year soon!

How did everyone's reading year go? Did you achieve goals? Wrote a book?! I'd love to know. ❤️❤️

Sorry for not being active lately, I've been on a huge binge reading week and I've read 5 books this week. (Yes, it's a lot) and only partly because I stayed up ALL NIGHT.

The Kiss of Deception: 3.5 ⭐'s
The Mara Dyer Trilogy: 3-4 ⭐'s
Songs of Insurrection: 3 ⭐'s

How's your reading week going? What are you currently reading? 😄

TBH was an amazing trilogy and I loved it. The second book is my absolute favorite. Have any of you read it?

Tell me your most underrated book (s)?

For me it would be Penryn and The End of Days trilogy, Karen Lynch's Relentless trilogy, all of Emma Scott's, Kim Holden's, and Brittainy Cherry's, Mary Elizabeth books. There's more but space is limited. 😄

One of my all-time favorite books is The Name of The Wind. It was a huge book and quite intimidating but then I found myself not wanting to finish it. The writing was so beautiful and poetic. I haven't read the second book yet, mainly because the third one isn't out yet 🙈
Has anyone read this duo?? 😊

Full Tilt | Emma Scott
post image

One of the books I read in June was Emma Scott's second book in the Full Tilt duet - All In. I rated both books 5+🌟.
Emma is a favorite of mine and is an absolute talented writer, ALL her books invoke such intense feelings and all her characters are just so easy to connect and bond with. I highly recommend reading her books!! (Continued)

fictitiousfables Full Tilt is about two people who bond in heartbreaking circumstances. And All In is what happens after. If anyone has read it id love to know what you thought of it (and also cry and talk about my love Jonah) 7y

I was going to post a detailed post on what I read in June (which I will share tomorrow) but my shelves are a bit messed up so I'll have to organize. Anyways! What is everyone reading? I'm reading 180 seconds and The Mist of the Serengeti on my kindle. 😄

Book in this pic is tagged and I read it a few months ago and wasn't a fan. I hear the 2nd book is better, but I don't think I'm going to read it.

fictitiousfables Continued: if any of you read it what did you think of ACoTAR? 7y
Sophoclessweetheart I've recently finished a reread of it. I liked it the first time I read but I had so many faults and pet peeves about the book and characters I never read any more of the trilogy when they came out. Though, I've been urged by friends to continue so 💁🏼 After a reread I enjoyed more than I originally did. 7y
fictitiousfables @TheOtherMother i did too! hmm, I think I might reread it but the urge too isn't strong enough, 🙈 7y

Nevernight | Jay Kristoff

Mehso-so

There are books where you go with low expectations. Nevernight was one where I hated and loved it. I didn't really enjoy the writing. It was dense and though I love poetic writing this one took it a bit further. It was predictable and the plot failed with all the sexy times (mature themes) halfway through the book.

BUT I am glad I read it because I did love Mia. A totally badass assassin with a good heart.

Pickpick

One of the few books I read this month was A Conjuring of Light and it was an ending that made me sob and smile. These are my first books of Victoria's and I only want to read more of her writing. Her stories are unique and beautifully told. If you haven't read any of her books or have and planning to read ADSoM, then I highly recommend you start them and meet Lila, Kell, Rhy, Holland, and Alucard 😻

Ive only read Illuminae, a science-fiction world with hilarious, strong, and brave main characters AND A CRAZY ROBOT. The details in the way this whole book is designed with like IMs and newspaper articles, a wikipedia . . Was absolutely beautiful and so unique and different that it made the reading experience interesting. 😍

📖 currently reading: norse mythology by Neil Gaiman.

Here's some facts about me:

🦄 Today is my birthday, I am officially 19, yet I don't feel any different than I did yesterday.
🦄 I don't have any plans of going to college any soon.
🦄 I love writing, and my days are usually filled with inconsistent tapping of my keyboard and scribbles in my notebook.
🦄 I LOVE mythology -especially norse and greek.

tell me about you💕

Hello, Litsy! I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing here but so far it's kinda magical.

Bright Side is an absolute favorite of mine. It's so impacting and beautiful. I highly recommend BS and all of Kim Holden's books because all of them are so, so amazing.
