Well I might be missing for a while😊
Well I might be missing for a while😊
When this is living in the curtains.
About to start this. I have set myself a romance reading challenge this year (not my most loved genre) and this one has to go back to the library soon as someone else would like to read it.
I didn‘t read this as a child, and I don‘t recall reading it to my children. It‘s such a beautiful story, and I am enjoying reading some of the books missed when I was younger.
The final tea dragon, I loved this whole series, it touches on home and family, both blood and found. On friendship, disability, the lgbtqia community. And it‘s beautifully done.
Tomorrow morning I‘ll start this one. Such a brilliant series, and I‘m not a fan of graphic novels!
One of the best thinks about this graphic novel? A non binary main character!
I loved the first one so much I‘m going straight on with the second!
Ok, absolutely loved this little book. It really is very much cottagecore themed. Tonight I‘m going to try and read the other ones in the series.
Some light reading for this afternoon
I have picked this up and put it down numerous times in the last few months and I just can not get into it at all, so I think this will have to go on my DNF list.
If the cooler weather and full on planting season doesn‘t come soon I‘m going to end up bankrupt with all the ideas these books are giving me.
A beautiful piece of imagination.
Some light reading for tomorrow, after the darkness in today‘s read.
Finally sat down to read this this afternoon. And finished it in a few hours. I knew that the Japanese people were relegated to camps in ww2 USA, but reading about it hit really hard. This wasn‘t soemrhing we were taught in school, and it‘s something I wish I had known to teach my children when we were homeschooling all those years.
Some good ideas in here for small changes. Not everything is doable for everyone of course. But there are a few that we will implement.
Ready to read this after noon. Goddess help me, I‘m going to have so many things I want to try this autumn.
I shouldn‘t read books like this, now I have more ideas then I have space for!
Ready to go for my night time reading, seeing as my eyes and the light in the lounge won‘t let me read book books at night easily.
About to read about some really unusual foods people can grow.
If you have a veggie patch, or dream of one. If you are looking for inspiration, ideas, or encouragement then this book will suit you perfectly!
I sit in the Australian heat of autumn, wondering dearly when it will be cool enough to plant up our autumn/winter crops, and now have so much inspiration I‘m not sure where to store it.
Hurry up cooler days.
Also to start reading today
Ready to sit and read this. We are in a heat wave currently in Adelaide and rest is the only solution for getting through.
There are some good ideas and ideas for pretty plantings in this book.
Huntsman in the aloe! He was inside this morning. Then on the front door when we got home. Now hopefully he will settle in the aloe
Not from a container but in the ground…my corn harvest for this year! Didn‘t expect this much goodness!
Taking a break from fiction.
It‘s that time of the year again…when summer should turn to autumn and my head turns towards planting my garden up with beautiful veggies for the winter months ahead.
Downloaded and ready to go.
I read about 3/4 of this book but lost interest. I don‘t think it was anything to do with the book more so life has been super busy this last week and I have not had the time to just read read read like normal.
Ready to go:) this will be the first adult Gaiman I will have read.
Loved the throwback to when I was a child. I have to say I do prefer “wonderland” to “through the looking glass” but both are such beautiful dreamy fantasies!
For me this was a little disjointed in the writing. But I did finish it.
Not much of a cover but hoping this ebook will be just what I‘m needing.
Finished all I could. I know it‘s a classic and we should read the classics but I just couldn‘t really get into it.
To start when I finish the great Gatsby. There has been so little reading time this week. Or journalling time. Or craft time!
I finished this earlier this week, but the week has been such a whirl of busy that I have not had a chance to post here.
I really enjoyed Aimee‘s book. I love all the facts and I have learned so much (go look up videos of Indian dancing frogs….they are so cute) and I love how she weaved those facts with stories from her life.
Vegan lemon cupcake and an afternoon of reading 😋
I started reading this quite a while back and stopped. But coming back to it now.
This is a beautiful book with some gorgeous ideas on celebrating and holding space for the women in your life. I‘m not sure it‘s something I could hold personally but it‘s something I‘d love to be part of
Just about to start this today. Another one I should have read when I was younger but better late then never
I‘m pleasantly surprised. I always worry when I pick up a book for women that it might be knowingly or covertly transphobic. I love it when an author makes it known very early on that this will not be the case. ❤️❤️❤️🏳️⚧️
