I love this author! She has such a way of getting you so involved with her characters and understanding their perspectives. I thought this was well done! There is sex involved, yes. But not like one would expect from it being categorized as Erotica.

Love, love, love, love, love this story!! This story hit me on a personal level and is wonderfully told. Plus, the main male character is hot! I have a thing for alpha males 😄 I can't wait for the next book!

Amy Harmon is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. This story is so well-written and pulls you in so easily into this well-thought out world. A lot of heartache in this story, but leads to a happy ending.

Oh my gosh. This book is so heavy on an emotional level. I cried the last quarter of the book from the awful events in the story that lead to a happy ending. Make sure you have a box of tissue with you if you read this!

This kept my attention the whole time. I really liked the protagonist and how selfless she is. I'm not a huge fan of Tamlin - Rhysand is way cooler and sexier! But otherwise, a great story!

I remember my mom getting me this book when I was in the hospital a few years ago, so it has sentimental value as well as being good! I love this series. Charlaine Harris does a great job in writing mysteries with lots of wit and humor!

This was a very creative take on Catherine the Great's life. This was told from her POV and it was believable - that this might have been how she really thought. If you like history, this is a nice addition to the collection!

Her writing has improved greatly since Twilight!
