The Rockefeller Center's Christmas Tree for 2025 arrived today. I remember my visit to NYC with my family back in 1988, and we went to RC on our first night just to see the magnificent tree. Then I saw this pic today, and I saw things differently. 🎄

The cutting of a tree and decorating the tree for Christmas is meant to symbolize the resurrection of Jesus Christ. However...especially during this eco-crisis we humans have created...I prefer when I see a town decide to plant a tree, who lives overlooking the town like a guardian all year long and is cherished by being decorated each Christmas.
