Finished last week & gets a soft pick from me, I liked it well enough, but didn‘t love it. This is the first book from this author I‘ve read & I liked her use of magical realism & the idea that the MC bases her relationships on the slips of #Paper with “expiration dates” that magically appear when she meets them. (fits for yesterday‘s #SchoolSpirit prompt) It had the easy predictability of a rom-com but went a little deeper.

The primary focus, here, I believe, is making the story come alive through the shadowy edges, the fine lines, and the intricate lace-like edges that are enough to make any bibliophile sigh in delight – and for that, I commend Agnese Baruzzi‘s vision.
