I‘m starting to sound like a broken record but Robin Hobbs‘ books seem to fit the bill for so many things. My favorite loner is The Fool/Beloved/Amber/Lord Golden of the Farseer/Elderlings books. He/she is by their very nature a loner. They have too many secrets and hidden agendas to really let anyone in. Not to mention that they up and disappear and take on a new persona periodically. #OneIsTheLonliest#

My favorite lone character- is Sarah of Longbourn. It‘s been a while since I read this book- but her strength and determination through even the loneliest of times was inspiring and beautiful. She pales only to Jane Erye- who is my hero in every aspect and who I could also choose for this.

My favorite literary loner is the fierce and brilliant hacker Lisbeth Salander 🙌🏻I still haven‘t read book five yet, because I‘m silently protesting the new author of this series 😩( I caved and read book 4...meh😖)
