#AbbaInAugust Day 18: The Uncorker Of Ocean Bottles had one job in the world: to keep an eye out for a “glint of glass” that would indicate a message (mayhaps an #SOS) is floating out into the sea – and for him to deliver it to the recipient. His is a quiet, solitary life that derives meaning from letters that find its way to people whose faces light up from messages “written by a quill dipped in sadness.” My full review: https://wp.me/pDlzr-eym

A delightful novella collection connected by a single traveling bottle. No pirates (I think), but there are Vikings, so... ships. 😉 #MessageInABottle #PiratesLife #WhatAWayToLive

CrowCAH I love it when books travel with an artifact and how it touches multiple lives! Great book choice! 😊 5y
Cinfhen Great cover! 5y

The only thing I could find for #MessageInABottle was the Nicholas Sparks book, so I went for the #ship prompt instead. #WhatAWayToLive #PiratesLife

CrowCAH I've heard about this ship and it's eerie how there were no people and she was just floating along, as if life never got interrupted. Good choice for the prompt, she was basically a ship in an atmospheric bottle, unchanged by the outside world. 😊 5y
