I'm quickly falling in love with the Sigma Force series by James Rollins!
Action packed, fictional archeology. And honestly, who doesn't enjoy a good conspiracy theory?
Stopped by our local BAM and picked up the first two books in the series at a great price! ❤️

My fave writer ever has signed up to write fantasy, not my genre, at all! 😬 But then I read this article and it looks pretty good! I fear it‘s the end of Sigma Force though. He‘s working on the next book called The Last Odyssey. Sounds ominous. Oh please don‘t let it be the end! You can do both!!

I didn‘t know he started out writing fantasy as James Clemens. I guess I‘ll have to dip my toes into fantasy.

amsu311 Noooo...I hope he doesn't end Sigma Force... 2mo
LibrarianRyan I didn‘t know he was James Clemens. Cool. 2mo
Texreader @amsu311 Hopefully not. I couldn‘t handle it. I do need to reread the series. When I started it I read them out of order. 2mo
Texreader @LibrarianRyan Me neither until I read the comments to this article. Off I go to read fantasy. Crazy how love of an author can send you places you didn‘t think you‘d go. 2mo

Sigma Force confronts humankind's greatest threat, world hunger. This was an exciting adventure which took us to the Roman Coliseum to the icy peaks of Norway to the lost tombs of Celtic kings in search of a talisman, the Doomsday Day key, which was buried by a dead saint. Most chapters ended with a cliffhanger which kept the pages turning. This book had it all - history, mystery, prophecy, religion and science with lots of action in between.

EadieB James Rollins is an excellent writing and I look forward to reading the next book in the Sigma Force series. I would highly recommend this series to adventure lovers. 3mo

1. The Sigma Force series of which the tagged book is the latest. I‘d finally get to read them in order
2. Socks except during summer in Texas
3. Breckenridge CO. I thought it‘d be the highest point in Norway, in the Jotunheimen mountain area, where it looks like you‘re on top of the world. But it‘s a good 4000 feet lower than Breck
4. Strawberries, bananas, or coconut
5. Not this year

I‘ve given up Stalking Jack the Ripper for now in favor of my favorite author. Seems like brilliant timing as he explores the lingering mystery of the Malleus Maleficarum, the book used in the Middle Ages to identify and prosecute witches, in this latest Sigma Force novel. Hello October!

1. Sigma Force, the tagged book being the most recent
2. Stranger Things
3. The what now? Do you mean the World Cup cuz I love women‘s ⚽️! (just joking: No)
4. I made turkey & dressing tonight. The family loved the Thanksgiving preview on the 1st night of cold in south Texas (55F)
5. Nope. If anything, he‘s anti-reading unless it‘s a how-to manual (to take care of his bees or his cows, or to build his airplane)
