I was sad reading the mentions of Parkinson's Disease because my Granddad died from it, and Paul Sinha (off #TheChase) is now suffering from it.

The last chapter really annoyed me though - again, due to #TheChase - it's called 'The Autist Artist'. Cindy, who am I thinking of lol?!

The story of a mother and her three children who leave Afghanistan after the Taliban take over and kill her husband. Their journey as refugees trying to make their way to England is filled with danger and anguish but also with kindnesses as they cross paths with others. The ending is abrupt which might be appropriate but is also a bit unsatisfying after starting to care deeply for this family. Still very much a pick. #booked2020
