I have had this book on my shelves for ages & still use many of her green cleaning tips & recipes including her Lavender-Lemon Disinfecting Spirits Spray & her essential oil combo list. 💚🌱🪻🍋💛

As funny as Bill Bryson, as sincere as Barbara Kingsolver, and with goat-hijinks- anyone who wants the human race to survive with enough food for all of us should read this book. I read so many parts out loud to my patient husband, because they were too funny not to share! And if that doesn‘t convince you to pick it up, there are recipes.

Stuck at home from work today. Somebody shared another nasty virus. And I‘m trying not to feel guilty about it because there are plant starts that need to be tended to. A good primer but not much beyond the stuff most people are always well-aware of.

Bargain on kindle today. I have this in my kitchen and am often referring to it.
