Redy2trvl I was given this for my birthday and told not to read until this winter. My friend said it is a perfect snowstorm book. Well our big snowstorm has come and gone. I don‘t have the heart to tell her this book intimidates the hell out of me!!! 6y

rwmg I read this back in the 1980s but I'm not sure I would read her now after the sexual abuse allegations from her children. 6y

A Prayer for Owen Meany | John Irving

One of my favorite book to movie adaptations is Simon Birch. I saw the movie first and loved it. I was given A Prayer for Owen Meany years later and loved it, too. It‘s one of my all time favorite books. #24in48 #challengepost

dragondrool I loved the movie. I've tried reading the book twice and got maybe a quarter of the way. Maybe I'll try again soon. 6y

Peddler410 I‘ve seen the movie, haven‘t read the book but I bought it about a year ago. I had no idea Simon Birch was based on this book. 6y
