My dad‘s hobby was while I was growing up and still is beekeeping. I love Dad and bees so this seemed the appropriate post today. And I borrowed this book from him hoping someday to share in his hobby

pickI received this book from Librarything Early Member Giveaway for a honest review. I love this book! I was not expecting the outcome of the story. I fell in love with the characters right then. The story and characters were written well, and the book was amazing!!! I rated this book a 4 out of 5 stars.
pickThis really hit home for me. I could totally relate to the author's situation/feelings re: the mother retiring to bed & just not bothering to parent. And the grandmother was an absolute horror as well! Generational trauma at its "finest"!!! But I loved all the bee stuff - interesting in itself but also a lovely metaphor for the author's growth & resilience, the order & cooperation juxtaposing nicely with the dysfunction of her human family.
This it's my gorgeous #naturalitsy!
Really glad due the many lovely little things besides the amazing book I had in my wishlist. I loved the original bookmarks and the tiny bees a lot!

pickThis was just so lovely. The ending did feel a bit rushed but it was just a sweet story about loss and friendship and moving forward.

Yesterday was our Friends of The Library plant sale out in Mason, Michigan. And yours truly was out in unseasonably cold weather working it. And afterwards I went to other places in town to get more plants. #mittenlitten.
