Finished my first book in The Jane Austen Collection on #audibleoriginals. I was a bit concerned that my least favorite Austen novel (really the only one I disliked) was up first. But I‘m so glad I just went for it. Maybe it was my mood when I read it the first time around—about 15 years ago. I remember being on vacation in FL and a beach vacation may not be the best choice for a classic, at least for me apparently.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This #audibleoriginals podcast, presented in book form, was ... nuts. Really fucking ... nuts. Sorry. But, seriously, the San Joaquin Valley is an intense and important agricultural region. And nut heists are a very real thing. No serial numbers, plenty of gang activity, sometimes unwitting truck drivers. Super interesting listen! Fennell is fantastic!

The Man on the Mountaintop: An Audible Original Drama | Susan Trott

I love how #Audible is allowing its uses to listen to all of the #audibleoriginals each month (for the past two months)... This isn't one that I would have normally picked. Its just not the genre I would gravitate towards however in listening to it (its my current commute to work listen) I have really enjoyed it so far. It is a good reminder to treat all people as special and worthy of our time/kindness/energy etc :)

I reviewed these in a combined post on my blog (http://www.TheBibliophage.com) recently. Audible Originals get piled up in my library, and I wanted to knock some off.

Mala was my favorite, and if you‘re caregiving parents it‘s a must. The McLain was a solid HistFic choice abt Marie Curie. The Sittenfeld was better than I expected but limited in scope. Lullaby is 30-ish min. of a super creepy haunted house!
