Found the book store while on vacation in Marquette, MI, for the tall ships! Sadly they only had one copy of Pride and Prejudice and it was one I owned already.

In my #BarnesAndNoble Classics email they put together book adaptations based on popular classics. Naturally #PrideAndPrejudice was one of them!

It only confirmed to me that they release ANOTHER edition of P&P with new cover art!!!!

mabell Oh my 😳 I am curious about the numbers though (I‘ll have to read the article) - Catherine‘s dowry in the few millions is nothing to sneeze at and the Bates‘ income doesn‘t sound impoverished. But I guess that would still require strict housekeeping to pay for servants and home, etc. 2y
